“What to Believe?….”
It occurred to me as I took two online masterclasses and read numerous posts in a week, that they were valuable, stimulating and downright overwhelming. What to Believe?…..one significant podcast contradicted another masterclass broadcast within an hour of each other.
In the mainstream media of course we know there are contradictions
What to Believe…?
To address this dilemma of overload, three things come to mind:
1)Engage in a media diet every week or so to debride the extraneous details in your mind. It will give you more bandwidth and leave space for you to think, lead, create and play. Since when does a diet “free up bandwidth”? Since now...it really does.
But What to Believe?
2)Polish your decision making skills as you sort through the data. Remember that there will never be enough time and there will always be more data. Curate what you know, evaluate the sources and seek guidance from mentors. Then balance it out; one decision will float more to the surface than another.
But Who to Believe?
This is probably the most important. Do you seek trusted sources? And do you realize that who to believe is more important than what to believe. Now it’s time for a drumroll; the most important Who is you.
Your data vetting of both facts and feelings inform your talent to make sense of the world. Your world of experience,……your hard earned knowledge have prepared you to fill your well of inner wisdom.*
Who to believe is you…
